Hey everybody! Gotta ask for a week's hiatus for my boyos here. Going out of town for the next week, and interwebs will be scant, so better safe than sorry! I apologize to those I owe replies and threads too, and promise they will be addressed upon mah return!

Hi, there! I could totally wait until tomorrow when adds are made (fingers crossed!), but being lame, I'm going to jump the gun. This is CASSANDRA CUNNINGHAM, played by Natalie Portman: 24 years old, British-American, actress and author (writing credits of Janet Fitch), Cambridge graduate and geekette supreme. She was tapped at 18 by an agent while in a production of Hamlet with the National Youth Theatre, did a BBC serial for which she got rave reviews, and then freaked out as further audition opportunities poured in. She ultimately decided to put the prospect of an acting career on hold, in order to focus on her education instead. She "exploded" back onto the scene in 2005 (well-reviewed stint on the West End and a novel published, on top of a film role) and cultivated a reputation since then of being a critic's darling who is very careful and very judicious in choosing her roles.
In short, she's sort of gone the "good girl" starlet route: well-read, articulate, more likely to have her name linked to some philanthropic NGO than DUI records. Cassandra's been known to say that she's a very boring person in private, and the paparazzi is probably likely to agree.
